The Founding Father

My name is Joshua Hoch and I am the founder of the Central PA College Fantasy Football League. Like my man James Franklin once said, "I'm a Pennsylvania boy with a Penn State heart." As a kid, I always dreamt of attending Penn State University and now can proudly say I am a two-time graduate from the University. I have been attending PSU home football games since I was 8 years old. When I was a student, I had student season tickets for four years and once I graduated, I became a PSU Football season ticket holder. 

Enough about me though, onto this league...

The purpose behind creating this league was to ​share my passion for college football, as well as enhance my knowledge for the sport, with those around me. I started playing college fantasy football in 2011 and was immediately hooked. It may have been due to my early success or perhaps it was because I was combining the sport I am most passionate about with fantasy sports? 

At any rate, the Central PA CFF League has grown substantially since it's inaugural season in 2015. The goal was to test the waters with friends and family with the hope of capturing more interest in college fantasy football. During the inaugural season, the league consisted of just 12 owners with only players from the Power 5 Conferences and Independents in the player pool. At present, the league contains 16 owners, ALL players in FBS Conferences, including Independents, are in the player pool and there are a variety of ways for owners to cash in both during the season and at seasons end. Thanks to overly passionate college football fans like yinz, I can confidently say that interest in college fantasy football continues to trend upwards. That is reflected by the fact that there is a waiting list to get into the Central PA CFF League as well as the plethora of college fantasy football leagues and college fantasy football analysts and resources out there. Plus, if you pay attention in college fantasy football, you could have a leg up on those in your NFL fantasy football leagues when it comes time to drafting rookies coming out from college.
